These are Victorian, beautiful, ornately carved tortoise shell brooch and earrings. The set is hand carved with multi layers pinned together. The brooch has a dangle that drops down on the center that adds movement to the piece. The brooch measures 2 1/2” x 1 3/4” with a “C” clasp. The earrings are carved from 1 piece of tortoise shell, carved into 2 moving parts. There is a small tip missing from the earring on the left (please see photos). The earrings measure 2” (top of earring hook) x 1 1/4”. What a statement; that equals impressive!
